Apple ID Verification Failed?
Updates to apps/purchases made using the other ID might generate a new password request. Those transactions are linked to the previous ID and cannot be moved. If you’d like to use your current Apple ID, you may uninstall the apps/purchases created with the old ID and install them on your new one.
Open iCloud.com and sign in to your account. To locate an iPhone, go to Find My iPhone. nSelect “All Devices” from the drop-down menu to view a list of linked devices, then choose the one you wish to delete. Click “Delete From Account.
To erase your phone, go to the Settings app on your iPhone and select iCloud. Set Find My iPhone to Off. Your Apple ID password is required next.
Go to Settings > [your name] and scroll down. Tap Sign Out. Enter your Apple ID password and select Turn Off from the drop-down menu. On your device, choose which data you’d like to keep a copy of. Select Sign Out from the drop-down menu. Tap Sign Out one last time to confirm that you want to?
Open a web browser on your Mac, PC, or iPad and go to privacy.apple.com. Fill in your Apple ID email address and password. On the Apple ID & Privacy page, choose Continue > Get Started > Deactivate Your Account. Under Get Started, select it.
