Anything else you saved in your “Saved” folder. After you delete your account, anything that wasn’t automatically deleted will be removed from our servers after 14 days. Please note that deleting your account does not remove it from any device it’s already installed on (unless you also update/uninstall!). If you have multiple devices using the same account, please ensure they are all updated before deleting your account. You should also save any information you want to keep before deleting your account. Deleting an account requires that you verify your password and enter the email address associated with your account. Once you’ve done this, you’ll be asked one final time to confirm that you want to delete (you can change your mind at any point). Just follow these simple steps: 1) On the textPlus app’s home screen, tap on “Settings”.If you don’t see it, here’s how to get there:2) Then select “Account Settings”.3) Then select “Delete Account” from the menu options.4) You will then be prompted to verify your password by entering it in again then tapping ‘OK’5) Youshould then be prompted to choose from the following options:A confirmation that you want to delete your account.Deleting your account data but leaving your phone number(s) active on textPlus (useful if you’d like to keep using the service).Deleting your account with no data recovery option.Starting over without deleting any of your personal information (useful if you want to sign up again later). You can use this method to switch between accounts as well6) If you have a friend code, enter it in now and tap ‘Confirm’. Otherwise, just tap ‘I’m done’.
You can manage your textPlus account by going to the “Me” tab and clicking on the “Manage Subscription” button found at the top of that page. Once you click this button, you will be brought to a page with a number of subscription management options. If you want to cancel your subscription, select “Cancel Subscription.” You will then need sign into your Google Wallet account before being able to confirm that you wish to cancel your textPlus subscription.
