If you have been playing Minecraft for a while and are now looking to delete your Minecraft account, then this article is for you. If you do not know how to delete your Minecraft account, then continue reading as we will provide step-by-step instructions on how to do so. We will also go over some of the reasons people decide to delete their Minecraft accounts and what happens after the deletion process is complete!
– First things first, login to minecraft.net using your username and password. From there you will want to click the “Delete Account” button located on the account menu bar at the top of the page. Next, enter in a reason for deleting the Minecraft account – this is optional but highly recommended as it can help provide closure or give another person an idea if they are looking into starting Minecraft! Finally, click delete my Minecraft account and make sure that you have backed-up all information from Minecraft before doing so!

How To Delete Microsoft Account On Mobile Phone (Android/iPhone)
Step One: Remove minecraft account from a mobile device.
For Android devices, go to Settings > Accounts and select Minecraft game (or the account you want to delete) > Select Google ID or other login option.
The user is then asked if they would like to remove their Minecraft account on this device only or permanently. Clicking “Permanently” will result in a message saying that all of their data has been deleted and cannot be recovered.
Tap ‘OK’ for permanent deletion or tap ‘Remove Account On This Device Only’. If one wants minelight removed from the phone but keep it active on another platform, click the “Remove Account On This Device Only” button which removes the minecraft app.
Deactivating your account will not free up the username to be used on a different account. You can’t deactivate your old Minecraft accounts, but you can migrate it into a new Mojang one.
Scroll down to Apps and click on Service. Near the top of the window you will see a list of apps that are connected to your Microsoft account. From there, select Edit > Remove Services where you can delete any services that are not needed or wanted from this point forward.
Mojang does not remove premium account.
