Open Link to Windows on your Android device by going into the Quick Access panel, tapping, and holding on to the Link to Windows icon. Select a Microsoft account. Your previously used Microsoft account email address may be found under Your Phone Companion. Remove your account by clicking on Your Phone Companion and then Delete Account.

Swipe from left to right on the All apps screen, then tap Settings. Choose About System Clear your phone’s memory. You’ll be warned twice. If you’re confident in your decision, select Yes and Yes again.

The ONLY way to alter the phone’s default Microsoft account is to hard reset it and set it up again using a different Microsoft account. When you reset the phone, it will be restored to its original condition, when you bought it.

To remove an Exchange account, go to Applications > Email and choose Accounts from the left-hand menu. Tap Accounts on the Email screen to bring up the settings menu. To exit the Menu window, press and hold the Exchange Account you want to delete until the Menu window opens. Select Remove Account from the drop-down menu.

When your account is disabled, it will no longer be able to access your Microsoft services (one drive, etc). Unlinking the equipment from the account will prevent it from affecting your Microsoft store device limit and keeping your account organized.
