1. Go to the “Me” tab in your iOS or Android app and tap the Menu icon (three dots) at the top-right.

  2. Tap Account, then Delete Account. Tap Yes to confirm you want to delete your profile. You’ll need to enter your password before you can proceed with deleting your profile.

You must be connected to Wi-Fi in order to delete your profile via the app. If you’re not connected to Wi-Fi, simply go into the app menu and select Sign out of all devices followed by signing back in on each device in use so that no one else can access your information while you are deleting it from your app.

  1. If you see a message that says, “You’re required to visit [link] in order to delete your profile,” please jump over to the browser on your mobile device and try again. You will then be prompted with a new screen asking you to confirm your decision on deleting your Match account before proceeding through the deletion process.

If this is the first time you’re deleting your account via the mobile application, you’ll also need to provide a reason for ending your relationship with us (if it’s not obvious). Once all fields are filled out, tap Delete My Account at the bottom of the screen and then enter into our CAPTCHA text box: “MATCH”.

  1. You will receive one last confirmation request. Tap Delete again and your profile will be removed from the app. Please allow up to 24 hours for all related data to be deleted from our servers, including any saved messages and photos on the website or in an active chat session you may currently have open with another member.

‘If you ever change your mind, simply re-install the app, tap the Menu icon (three dots) at the top-right of the screen, then tap Sign In followed by Sign Up to create a new profile.’

To cancel a subscription, go to the settings page and click on ‘manage your subscription’. Enter your password if prompted and then select ‘cancel membership’.

To suspend or delete your match.com account, go to the Gear icon and tap Settings. Next, tap on Account settings and then click the “Link” that says “To suspend or delete your account, click here.” Finally, enter your email address and password to confirm before activating this action.

Hover over your avatar located on the top right of any Match.com page. Then, click “My Account Settings”. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and you’ll see a link that reads “To suspend or delete your account, click here”. At this point make sure to choose whether you want to suspend or delete your account.

On an Android device:1. Open the Google Play store on your device.2. Tap Account from the menu and then tap Subscriptions.3. Find Match.com in the list of subscriptions and select Cancel, which will prompt you to confirm by tapping “Yes.”

You may cancel your subscription, without penalty or obligation, at any time before midnight on the third business day following the date you subscribed.

You can suspend your account by clicking ‘Suspend my profile’ under the link ‘Help’, then following the instructions to confirm that it’s what you want to do.Tips: Often, people read this as “for help, click left of the page” or “When you’re looking for help on a website, look at where they’ve uploaded it below?” Clarity here is important and speaks more to what we ask our clients to do when they first sign up.
