Log in to your Instagram account using your preferred credentials. Select the reason for leaving from the drop-down menu. Choose a password and then click “Permanently delete my account.” Your Instagram account has now been permanently deleted.
Open the Instagram app on your iPhone or Android. Tap the down arrow next to your Instagram username at the top of the screen. Select the account you wish to remove from the drop-down menu. In the top-right corner, tap three lines.
On your phone, open the Instagram app. Tap the Profile icon. Go to the Profile page and select Settings. Basics is the first option you should scroll down to. Delete Your Account may be found by scrolling through the choices until you get to Getting Started.
To request deletion, you’ll need to be able to log into your account. If you can’t remember your password or username, see our suggestions for logging in and resuming access. After that, please re-enter your password… The option to permanently remove your account will only appear if you pick a cause from the menu.
