Unfortunately, you won’t be able to temporarily deactivate your account while the IMVU team is clearing room for new users. If you wish to get rid of your account, please do so.

If your IMVU account is disabled because you’ve violated the site’s terms of service, for example, or if it’s banned, you’ll receive an email notification and be unable to access the site. Users’ rooms are erased. If others share a room with you, they won’t be able to access it any longer.

You must submit a trouble ticket to IMVU’s support staff in order to reactivate an inactive account. On the bottom of the main IMVuan web page, click the “Contact Us” link. Select the relevant department by clicking the “Customer Service” button.

Go to the imvu.com catalog and log in to your account. On the page, verify that the avatar name is correct and input your IMVU password to delete the account. After you click “Continue,” you’ll see a message that reads, “Your account has been successfully removed.

Go to your Google Account’s Data Privacy menu. Delete your account by going to “Your data privacy options” on the left-hand side of the screen and then clicking on “Delete my account,” as seen below. To delete your account, go to “My Account. Select Account settings,” then select “Deactivate my account.
