If you’ve deleted your account via our app there may be some delay before your new profile is activated on the website. In such cases we recommend contacting Customer Service for assistance.

What if I change my mind and want to re-activate my account? Can I retrieve it?

Yes, you can re-activate your deleted account only within 14 days of the deletion date. If you are activating a deleted dating profile, we will retain your profile information from before your deletion request and any associated correspondence with other members that was created prior to the removal request. Please login and go to Account Settings -> Delete Account in order to reinstate your Deleted Profile. A “Delete Account” button will have replaced the “Forget Password” option in this page if it is available again for your use.

Please keep in mind that if you delete your profile a second time, no data will be recovered and the deletion process cannot be reversed. If you have any doubt regarding this matter, we recommend not deleting your account and instead contacting Customer Service for assistance.

If you still want to recreate an Elitesingles profile after re-activating your profile, your past experience from before the deletion request will be lost but all other benefits of being an Elitesingles member (such as communication with existing members) will remain intact. Once reactivated, please remember to verify your mobile phone number as soon as possible by following these steps:

  1. Go to App home screen and press the menu button (3 vertical dots)

  2. Select Settings -> Account info -> Phone Verification

To prevent yourself from being recommended to other members, you can hide your profile. You may reactivate matching at any time. Please note: deactivating a connection while you have a Premium Membership will not terminate the subscription.

EliteSingles.com Premium subscription can only be cancelled through Google Play if you originally purchased it with your Android mobile app.

To close your account on HER (from the iOS app) – go to Settings > scroll down to Support > hit Close Account.

Navigate to My Account via the menu and Membership. Select your cancellation reason from within the “Cancel” section, then click/tap Continue.
