Unfortunately, once a username has been generated, it may not be changed or edited. You’ll need to set up a new account if you want a different handle.
If you have more than one email address, you can create up to seven additional usernames for your AOL account. Your primary master username, which you choose when creating your AOL account, cannot be changed or deleted.
Go to the Account security page. Click Change password. Create a new password using the same guidelines as before, with lowercase letters and numbers only and a minimum of six characters (a combination of uppercase and lowercase or upper-and-lowercase combinations is not considered to be a word). Then click Continue.
The login screen for AOL email accounts is accessed via the top-right corner on desktops and through the top-right hamburger menu on mobile devices. You may also download the AOL mobile app to discover a button labeled “Get started.” To set up an AOL email address, you must first select “Create an Account.”
It offers the most secure email service available, which is why many users select AOL mail over any other email provider. The email address that you pick when you create an AOL account becomes your primary email address and cannot be altered or deleted.
