Delete AOL Mail Account Permanently?
You can’t erase your email account unless you also cancel the entire AOL account, which means that you will lose access to all AOL services, including AIM instant messenger. Furthermore, after 90 days, your emails and address book are permanently erased; you cannot restore the account afterward.
Open your Gmail account on Google.com and sign in. Select “Account” from the grid icon in the upper right corner. Select “Delete your account or services” from the drop-down menu under “Account preferences.” Choose “Delete products.” Give it a try.
At the top of the window, click Manage My Subscriptions. Click Cancel under your account. nChoose the reason for cancellation, then press the Cancel AOL button.
AOL is still in the business of providing free email services today, despite being a huge community. They also serve Yahoo, Compuserve, Verizon, and some Frontier emails in addition to providing AOL customers with email.
If an account hasn’t been used in 90 days, AOL automatically deletes it. If your loved one had a free account, the time limit shrinks to 30 days. However, you may wish to completely remove an account.
