Facebook has made numerous agreements with Samsung and other Android smartphone manufacturers to ensure that users cannot delete the app. The deals, first reported by Bloomberg, mean the Facebook software is pre-installed on devices and may only be disabled, not permanently deleted.

Go to the top right of Facebook and click the down arrow. Select Settings & Privacy from the drop-down menu. Then, from the left column, select Settings. Click Your Facebook Information in the column to view your information. Select Deactivate and Delete from the drop-down menu. Choose Permanently Delete Account, then click Continue to Account.

Open the Facebook app on your Android device. nap the three-lined icon (hamburger menu). Choose Settings & Privacy from the drop-down menu. Scroll down and select Account Ownership and Control. Select Deactivation and Deletion. Select Delete Account from the drop-down menu.

Have you checked for Facebook in Settings>General>Storage & iCloud Usage>Storage and managed storage to see whether it’s there? You may be able to remove it if you can find it.

If you don’t want to use the Safari browser, you may utilize a third-party app instead. Open the Settings menu on your iPhone or iPad. Scroll down and tap Safari. Tap Clear History & Cookies under Sign In and then Delete Account (in iOS 11). To erase an app that you downloaded from somewhere other than the App Store, press.
