What is device event tracking?
Device activity and event tracking feature was introduced in Android 5.x (API level 22) to track security events on your phone, such as application installations or uninstallations. It also captures some other information about installed apps, device settings changes, network connections and more. This data can be used for troubleshooting app issues and help you investigate potentially harmful apps.
