– when deleting an app from a particular device using amazon’s instructions, they will tell you how as well as where any remaining copies exist (just scroll down). If this is too confusing, then just call customer service and someone there should be able to help out.
– note: if your phone or tablet doesn’t have an app built into it like amazon’s amazon photo app, then you need to download amazon photos on your computer and upload any content from the camera roll.
– this will also delete anything else in that folder at the time of uploading.
– once amazon photos are downloaded onto your computer, they can be accessed through a web browser or by downloading amazon photos for mac/windows/Linux (sorry iPhone users).
If that doesn’t sound like enough space for you but still want easy access while keeping some personal data private, then let’s take a look at how we can get rid of those pesky amazon photos from amazon drive.
On your desktop, find the amazon drive folder and open it up. Once inside that we’ll need to find where those pictures are housed – they’re going to be in a sub-folder titled “pictures”. Open that one up too, scroll around until you find all of the images you want to delete, select them by holding CTRL on PC or Command+click on Macs and hitting DELETE when prompted! Are all done? Go ahead and close these folders before heading back over to the manual website for more information about what’s next (or just keep reading this post).
Hold and drag on an individual photo until a checkmark appears. Then tap the album name to view all photos in that folder. To select more than one at once, single tap each additional item on top of one already selected.Press and hold until a checkmark will appear next to your video/photo. After this you can open up the albums (by clicking on them) and delete entire albums by selecting ‘delete’.
