Tap the menu button in the top-right corner, then Settings and privacy. Tap Your account, then Deactivate your account. Read the deactivation information carefully, then tap Deactivate. When prompted to enter your password, tap Deactivate. Tap Yes to confirm that you really want to eliminate the account.
Delete your account by going to Settings > Accounts and Passwords. Select Delete Account from My iPhone.
How to delete Twitter on your Android device. Tap your profile photo in the top left-hand corner of the screen. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and tap “Deactivate Your Account.” Type in your password and then hit Deactivate to confirm your request.
