It’s possible that the Mailbox for which you’re looking is already highlighted; have a look in the Toolbar, click on “Mailbox,” then select “Rebuild” from the drop-down menu. Try removing it by right-clicking or ctrl-clicking on it and choosing Delete from the menu.
In the EAC, go to the location of the mailbox type you want to delete: Recipients > Mailboxes for user mailboxes and linked mailboxes. Find and select the mailbox you wish to disable. Click Delete after selecting the mailbox or mailboxes you want to remove.
Choose Mail > Preferences, then Accounts in the Mail app on your Mac. Select an account and hit the Delete button. Note: If other applications on your Mac make use of this account, you’ll be prompted to delete it from Internet Accounts System Preferences.
Select a message from the VIP in your Mac’s Mail app. nClick their star next to their name in the message header. Your VIP mailbox is removed from the Mail sidebar and the Favorites bar, but your messages remain in the inbox.
To delete a shared mailbox, go to the accounts section of your device’s settings, select the shared mailbox account you’d like to remove, and press Delete Account. This will remove the shared mailbox from your phone.
