Mailboxes are created when an email account is set up on an iPhone. To delete a mailbox, you must delete the email account.
To remove a mailbox from your phone, open the Mail app and tap the Menu button in the top-left corner. Then, select Settings and choose your mailbox. Tap Remove Account and confirm your choice.
First, log into your account and click on the “Mail” tab. Then, find the mailbox you want to delete and click on the “Delete” button.

To turn off a shared mailbox, the owner of the mailbox needs to remove the shared mailbox permission from all other users.
There are a few ways to empty your mailbox. You can delete all the messages in your mailbox, or you can archive all the messages in your mailbox. To archive all the messages in your mailbox, select the messages and press the Archive button.
