If a Kindle book is deleted from the account, it will go to the “Archived Items” section of the account.
Kindle books never expire, but if you purchase a book and then delete it from your device or reading app, it will no longer be accessible.

The Kindle can hold up to 1,000 books.
To remove books from your Kindle but not the library, you can go to “manage my kindle” and then click on the book you want to remove. From there, you can delete the book from your device and archive it.
The Kindle app on your device is a separate entity from the Kindle e-reader. To delete books from the app, go to the menu and select “Library”. From there, you can select which books you want to delete.
