Open the Settings app on your phone. Tap Accounts in the drop-down menu. If you don’t see “Accounts,” select Users & accounts instead. Select the account you want to remove. Cancel or delete the account. For protection, if this is the only Google Account on your phone, you’ll need to enter your phone’s pattern.
Download your data after canceling your Gmail service. open the Settings app on your Android phone or tablet. Select Data & privacy from the top menu. Select Delete a Google service from the drop-down list. Tap Delete next to “Gmail.
Go to your Google Account’s Data & Privacy page and scroll down to “Your data & privacy settings.” Unlink your Google Account. Delete your account according to the instructions.
Open the Settings app. Select Accounts from the drop-down menu. Gmail is the name of your account, so select it. Select Remove Account from the drop-down menu. Confirm with a tap on Remove Account.
To access Google Services, go to the “Settings” app and scroll down to “Apps.” Select the “All” tab. Look for the “Google App” and click on it. To erase the Google account cache, tap on the “Clear cache” option. Clear all data if any data has been stored in an app.
