Tap your profile’s top right button. Scroll down and select Settings & Privacy, then Settings. Select Account Ownership and Control from the drop-down menu. Tap Deactivation and Deletion on the left side of the screen. Follow the on-screen directions to confirm your account’s deactivation.
Open the Settings app on your phone. Accounts should be on here. If you don’t see “Accounts,” check Users & accounts. Delete the account if necessary.

Scroll down and select Settings & Privacy, then Personal and Account Information. nap Account Ownership and Control. Tap Account Ownership and Control again. Tap Deactivation and Deletion. Select Delete Account from the drop-down menu, then Continue to Account Deletion from the bottom of the screen.
Tap Menu in the Facebook app. Scroll down and select Settings & Privacy from the drop-down menu. Select Settings. Tap Personal and Account Information on the screen. On the account ownership and control screen, tap Deactivation and delete. Enter your password, then click Continue.
