Evernote’s GDPR compliance does not apply to anonymized data . For example, if you opt in to our beta program , we may collect data about usage and performance for the purposes of product improvement without connecting it to a particular user. We’ll also keep logs of support requests and responses as needed for troubleshooting purposes. Any log data is treated like other anonymous data, and is not subject to the GDPR.
If you have an Evernote Business account , make sure to check your admin settings for any privacy controls available on your account . It may be possible to adjust these controls to match your individual preferences. If you need help with this, contact support .
In the case that you didn’t know, by using Evernote and agreeing to their privacy policy you were opting in to their GDPR policy. I don’t see how this would work without some sort of consent from a user or subject. So I did not opt out, but I also took an action to close my account.
To cancel your Evernote subscription and stop the automatic renewal, go to your account summary. In the left column under Billing, click Cancel Subscription
Make sure you’re signed in to Evernote, and locate the ‘Evernote’ folder inside ~/Library/Application Support/. Delete this entire folder. You may need to restart your computer (or sign out of your device) before you can find it again.

AndroidTo delete individual notes, open the note in the Trash, tap the options button (three dots), then tap Delete note forever.To empty the entire trash, open the Trash, tap the More actions button (3 dots) and either Empty it or Clear cache.
