To remove an artist, go to My Music and scroll down to the bottom of the screen. Tap it. Swipe left on any artist, album, or song. Alternatively, swipe left on All Songs to delete all music. Confirm your choice by tapping Delete.

Open the Settings app on your iPhone. Scroll down and select Music from the drop-down menu. Select Downloaded Music from the list of options. Tap All Songs or individual artists to swipe right to left. To remove a song, tap Edit next, then Delete after that.

As an Apple Music subscriber, you can download music, playlists, and albums from the Apple Music library to your iPhone or iPad for offline listening. Over time, however, downloading songs, playlists, and albums from the Apple Music catalog will eat up your device’s storage space.

To select all songs in a playlist on iTunes for Mac, hold down “Command” and press “A”. All of the tracks will be chosen. The Delete key should be pressed. To finalize your choice, choose the “Delete Items” option.

Q: What happens if I remove a song from my library? A: Select the tracks you wish to delete and right-click, then select Remove download. The file itself is deleted, freeing up space on your hard drive, but the cloud connection remains in your collection so you can listen to it later; it’s not removed from your iCloud Music.
