Go to the Settings of your Chromebook. Click on the Advanced drop-arrow for additional choices. Select Reset Settings from now on. Select the Reset option. This will remove all user accounts as well as any other Google Chrome devices connected to your account, just like if it were a brand new one.
Remove a profile on a Chromebook. Select the desired profile on the sign-in screen. Next to the profile name, tap the Down arrow. Removing this user is one of your options. In the pop-up window, select Remove this user.
Google’s support website states that you should log out of all your accounts if you don’t want them to automatically sign in. Change your profile picture on the upper right corner, then press Sign out from the menu. Go to gmail.com and sign in using the account you wish to make the default. The first account you sign in to becomes.
Select the time in the lower right corner. Select Settings from the drop-down menu. remove this account when you’re finished using it.
A factory reset on your Chromebook removes all of the data from your hard drive, including your settings, apps, and files. Google Drive and an external hard drive won’t be erased as a result of the reset. Back up any files before initiating the operation.
