To update your settings, go to Settings on the left-hand slider. You can modify your name, birthday, email address, and language preferences under Account, as well as change your TIDAL password. Choose your audio quality, customize playback settings and control sound output under Streaming.

Open the Tidal desktop software and go to Settings (the final item on the L side) then click on ‘Account,’ after which ‘Update your subscription.’ This should take you to the Tidal website (or you could get there via a Google search). Choose ‘Subscription’ and you’ll be taken to a page where you can switch.

On the left, click on “Payments”. On the right side, there’s a drop-down menu where you can select your preferred payment method. Select your chosen payment option from the list on the left. It’s best to open a new tab for this. You may use Safari or Chrome in iOS 11 and Android 8 as well as others.

The major distinction between the two is their cost and sound quality. While the Premium level transmits lossy compressed files, which translates to “standard” audio quality, the HiFi option uses lossless compression, resulting in superior sound.

The difference between a high bitrate lossless file and a low bitrate lossy file is obvious, but the distinction between Tidal’s HiFi and Master qualities is almost unnoticeable because they are both high bitrate lossless files.
