Once you have confirmed by entering the OTP sent to you, you need not enter the OTP again for a particular time period. You can check the validity of this code by entering it again or just rely on what you entered in step 4 above.

How to change mobile number for existing order?
Step 1: Login to Your Account: Open amazon app or website and login into your account with correct credentials Suppose if your updated mobile number is 9898989000 (New Number), then enter as below screenshot given. Step 2: Sign into Your Account Page from Top Right Corner -> Change Mobile Number You can see three options under Settings Tab > Manage Accounts & Devices > Mobile Number as given in below screenshot.
To see if your new SIM card has been verified, go to Menu > Settings > Profile. You’ll be able to tell if it’s completed by looking under Change my number and seeingif your old and new numbers have appeared as verified. Once everything is OK, you can then go to Menu > Settings > Change my number and enter in your old andnew numbers. If you want, you also have the option of mass notifying all of the contacts on your phone by selecting those that are on autopilot when you change network or phone
