Currently we do not show player’s matchmaking values or spread in any way, since it is an internal value used for matchmaking purposes and isn’t relevant to you as a player. We’ve never shown this value and will continue not doing so, but we might consider showing it once we aren’t using this value anymore (we’re slowly moving towards skill independent matchmaking). We also know that lots of people want some kind of numeric indicator for their progress/skill level which would serve as a replacement for the MMR that we aren’t showing. We’ve considered showing a skill rating or Elo ranking but decided against it for two reasons: firstly, because our matchmaking system is still not 100% skill based (we’re working towards it though) and secondly, because with players starting at different points it’s hard to get a good representation of each player’s skill level in relation to everyone else. Having said this, if we ever make the matchmaking completely skill based we might consider adding some kind of self-assessment tool/rating for people to compare themselves against other players since having a common ground is helpful in many ways.
There are no plans for anything official surrounding clans or guilds at this time, but as we mentioned before we do like the idea and might look at it in the future. Whatever form this takes, we would only want to add it if we feel it would add something positive to the game and not just be an additional thing for people to do which is why it didn’t make sense to us when people started offering real money or gems for membership of their clan.
